Tauranga Regatta 2022

Update and Thank You:

Thank you all for attending the Tga Regatta this weekend. Great to see so many people out on the water enjoying the sailing. Unfortunately due to the large number of boats on the same course recording accurate results was difficult. This has resulted in a number of people calling about the results. Our results person will look into those that have been raised in a week or so's time as her schedule does not allow it this coming week. Please be patient and understanding, we will be doing our best to rectify this. email office@yacht.org.nz if you would like to submit a results comment.

Tauranga Regatta update 18.2.2022

Welcome to the Tauranga Regatta!

We hope you will join us on the 26th and 27th on stunning Tauranga Harbour for what will be a festival of sailing with up to 16 classes, 130 boats, and 170 sailors indicating they will be coming.  We are doing all we can to ensure we can go sailing with the minimum disruption from Covid, but some restrictions will be inevitable.  We will be posting online an operational plan by 7:00 pm on Wednesday 23rd detailing how we will comply with covid rules, including your rigging zones and the process for launching and retrieval.

Note that in the unlikely and unfortunate event the regatta is cancelled due to Covid escalation, we will be issuing full refunds for entries already paid.

Keep checking in here over the next week for further news and updates, and we look forward to seeing you on the 26th.

Nik Burfoot

Tauranga Regatta Race Organiser

Note: Please check your junk folder if you didn't receive a notification that your entry was received. Google sends an automatic reply to you.

Results R1-R6

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves on the water! With close to 150 boats and 13 classes (plus multiple duplicate sail numbers) to score, the finish line was hectic at times and impossible to get 100% accurate results. If you have queries please email them to office@yacht.org.nz and we will review them as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
