All cadets train from 6:30-9:15pm on Wednesday evenings during school terms.  A variety of optional activities are available for cadets most weekends.  These activities range from sailing and powerboat handling to bushcraft.

We do sail some weekends and we travel to Auckland to sail. 

Our officers have all been with New Zealand Cadet Forces for long periods.  All of them have developed specialist "off-the-water" skills as well as having a great deal of nautical experience.
